The method
The TrustLens assessment comes from more than 50 years of combined investigative field experience. S. Neil Rucker spent more than 40 years as an Alabama law enforcement investigator and polygraph examiner. He developed the approach with his late brother, John B. Rucker Jr., who served 27 years with the FBI. Their question was always the one we ask your firm: where does the procedure on paper stop matching what people actually do?
The instrument
A checklist tells you what exists. The TrustScore weighs what matters, across 14 categories and more than 40 risk areas. It was built by our CTO, whose graduate training is in statistics and test development.
The boundary
TrustLens tells you what to check. It never tells you what the legal answer is.
Founders' field work
The investigative experience behind our law-firm reviews predates TrustLens. Our founders' prior company carried out field engagements with organizations including Alabama State Docks, Providence Hospital, Hancock Bank, AAA Cooper Truck Line, Bender Shipyards, Singing River Hospital, Seven Eleven, Church's Fried Chicken, Jiffy Mart, Lorch Jewelry. These are historical engagements, not current TrustLens customers or offerings for other industries.
